On 27 June 2024, architect Marco Casamonti was invited to take part in the talk “Man at the centre of every sustainable project”, an event included in the programme of the 10th Pambianco Interni Design Summit, where he presented the work and values of the Archea Associati studio: architecture is experiencing a “new Humanism”, putting the figure of man at the centre of the design idea, which is then developed with the utmost respect for the environment and the concepts of eco-sustainability, “reuse” and “non-consumption of land”, concepts that, in turn, are also revolutionising “the idea of aesthetics and taste in global society”. Delving into these issues, architect Casamonti also spoke about sports infrastructures in Italy, citing the current situation of football stadiums, which should be renovated and redeveloped, and not built from scratch, precisely with respect to sustainability and economy.
