On Saturday, July 13, a work by Emilio Isgrò, created by architect Marco Casamonti in collaboration with the artist, was unveiled in Piazza Matteotti in Montale: a tribute to fallen law enforcement officers and servants of the state, consisting of a phrase by General Carlo Emilio Dalla Chiesa, “Some things are not done out of courage, they are done only to look our children and our children’s children more serenely in the eye,” a phrase written by Isgrò in the art form that made him famous, namely that of erasures.
