During the day of December 19, 2024, within the spectacular setting of the Sala della Promoteca of the Campidoglio in Rome, the Marco Casamonti / Archea Associati studio was invited to participate in the 7th Edition of the “100 Progetti Italiani – Premio Regula” ceremony, winning the prestigious award for the “Public Works and Infrastructure” section with the innovative Kiss Bridge project in Phú Quốc, Vietnam.
The Kiss Bridge, with its iconic form consisting of two large, curving arms that reach a height of 16 meters above sea level, touching each other without joining, represents a marriage of functionality and architectural poetics. The bridge is not only a connecting element, but also a symbol of union and cultural encounter, reflecting the balance between tradition and modernity, a distinctive feature of the Florentine firm’s work.
This important award confirms the studio’s commitment to designing spaces that not only meet technical needs, but are also capable of conveying emotions and enhancing the context in which they fit. With this victory, the project establishes itself as a significant example of architecture that goes beyond mere construction, becoming a work of great symbolic and cultural value.
